Ironvale Privacy Policy
Last updated: 25 October 2026
Ironvale is made by Arcsteel Reactor Studios. This page explains what the game stores, what it sends to online services, and why. It covers every version of Ironvale: Windows, Android, the browser version at ironvale.gmicrosystem.com/play and the version on CrazyGames.
In short
- You play as a guest; an account (a username and password) is optional. The game never asks for your email address, real name, phone number or location.
- There are no ads, no advertising trackers and no real-money purchases.
- We do not sell or share your data for marketing.
- Online features run on Unity Gaming Services, which processes the data needed to make them work.
Stored on your device
- Your progress and settings (mechs, salvage, trophies, quests, controls, audio and graphics settings). On Windows and Android they are saved in the game’s data folder; in a browser they are saved in the browser’s storage for the site.
- A sign-in token for the online services, so you keep the same pilot between sessions.
- A log file on Windows (
Player.log), used to find bugs. It stays on your device unless you send it to us.
Sent to online services
Ironvale uses Unity Gaming Services (by Unity Technologies) for its online features:
- Authentication: every copy signs in with an anonymous player ID. If you create an account (not available on CrazyGames), your username and password are handled by Unity Authentication; we never see your password.
- Cloud Save: a copy of your progress and your pilot name, so your progress can be restored.
- Friends: your pilot name, your friend list, friend requests and whether you are online.
- Multiplayer: when you play online, your pilot name, mech, loadout and match actions are shared with the other players in the room. Match traffic passes through Unity Relay, which, like any online service, processes your IP address to connect you.
- Chat (not available on CrazyGames): messages you send in a room are delivered live to the players in that room. They are not stored on our servers.
- Service diagnostics: Unity’s services may send basic technical information (for example the device type and error reports) needed to run and fix them.
Fair play
The game checks its own files and your save for tampering. If cheating is detected, you are removed from the online match and the detection is written to your local log.
GitHub
The game asks GitHub’s servers for the current time, so timed rewards cannot be unlocked by changing your device’s clock. On Windows and Android it also downloads updates from GitHub. GitHub receives your IP address for these requests; see GitHub’s privacy statement.
Playing on CrazyGames
When you play Ironvale on CrazyGames, CrazyGames runs the site and its SDK, and their privacy policy applies to what they collect. If you are signed in to CrazyGames, their Automatic Progress Save may back up the game’s save to your CrazyGames account.
Children
Ironvale is intended for players aged 13 and older.
Keeping and deleting your data
Your online data is kept while you play and deleted on request. To ask for a copy or for deletion, contact us with your pilot tag, which is shown on the title screen (for example PILOT1234#56789). Clearing the game’s data on your device removes the local copy.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes too.
